Your Town and Country

hello@goldenridgehoney.co.uk

  • Is your honey raw and unpasteurised?

Yes. We never heat our honey above hive temperature, so all the natural enzymes, pollen, and flavour stay exactly as the bees made it.

  • Why has my honey crystallised?

That's completely natural and a sign of pure, raw honey. Stand the jar in warm water and it returns to golden liquid, so nothing is lost.

  • Do you deliver, or can I collect?

We're at local markets most weekends, and you can arrange direct collection or bulk orders by getting in touch. We don't currently post nationwide.

  • Are your bees treated with chemicals?

We keep our bees as naturally as possible and only ever harvest surplus honey, so the colony always has plenty for itself.

  • Do you do gift sets or larger quantities?

Yes! Our Gift Jars & Sets make lovely presents, and we're always happy to talk bulk pricing for events or wholesale.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Family Tradition, Shared with the Community

Every jar I bring to market is harvested by hand, carefully extracted, and bottled with nothing added. I know every hive by name — and I know every customer by face. That's the way I like it.

Thank you for supporting local. It means everything to me and to the bees.

Sarah, your local beekeeper

I started keeping bees a decade ago in my back garden, inspired by a lifelong love of nature and a desire to eat more honestly. What began as a single hive has grown into a small but thriving apiary tucked into the hedgerows of our local countryside.

OUR STORY

"I bought the gift set for my mum's birthday and she was completely delighted. Beautiful packaging and the flavours are just gorgeous."

John N., local customer

"Sarah always has time for a chat and genuinely loves what she does. You can taste the care that goes into every jar. Wouldn't go anywhere else."

Pat & Gil M., regulars

"I'm completely hooked on the creamed honey, it's so smooth it spreads like butter, and there's never a drop wasted. Sarah's stall is the first place I head to every Saturday morning."
